Frequently Asked Questions
The face shields are made of 3D printed PLA plastic with a PET transparency in the front. An adjustable elastic band is attached to the back of the shield to secure it to the user's head.
Ear savers are made from 3D printed PLA plastic.
Please complete the form at the bottom of this page (or at the bottom of the Home page). Select the option "CUSTOM_PPE" under product code, and complete the additional field that appears which gives you the space to describe the design and color you would like for your face shield. Shortly after submission, we will contact you to finalize the design before printing.
Starting from the edge of the face shield, push the holes in the transparent sheet onto the two-pronged pegs on the shield headband. Using the button holes in the elastic, stretch it over the oblong hooks on the corner of the shield headband and adjust as necessary.
Your face shield can be cleaned using an alcohol wipe. Take the wipe and clean both sides of the PET transparency sheet as well as the portion of the headband that makes contact with your head.
If for any reason the PET transparency sheet breaks, it can be replaced using a letter-sized laser transparency, and use a single-hole puncher to add holes in the sheet for the pegs.
Ear savers are 3D printed straps that have hooks to which the elastic mask bands attach. The ear saver can reside higher up on the head or on the neck. (See image above).
